 China reports first Avian influenza  H10N3 human case


As the first outbreak of this avian flu was reported in late 2006 but only within the birds but the china reports first case to be infected by the avian flu.



A 41 year old person in the eastern china's city zhenjiang was reported to be infected by the avian flu said China's National Health Commission (NHC) on 1 June. As the person was diagnosed with the Avian influenza virus on the May 28 But according to the scientists the avian flu H10N3 strain is low pathogenic or having less severity & deny any risk of the outbreak as the case was an infrequent virus transmission. & the peoples who came in the contact of that infected person as not complain about any symptoms & abnormalities till now. And the patient is in the stable condition & to be discharged soon.


Symptoms:-

The sign & symptoms may appeared in the time period of two to seven days of infection. And having common symptoms like common flu or influenza.

Cough

Fever

Sore throat

Body & muscle aches 

Head ache

Difficulty in  breathing

Eye stye




Precautions:- 

  • Do not eat half boiled eggs.

  • Do not eat undercooked chicken.

  • Avoid direct contact with birds in the infected areas.

  • Avoid touching dead birds with bare hands
  • Maintain the cleanliness of surroundings
